The UH078sx Deluxe is a compact 5 Watt Waterproof (JIS7) UHF radio featuring Metal Alloy Casing built for Australian and New Zealand Rugged and Tough Conditions.

The UH078sx Deluxe is now equipped for extra convenience with a Cigarette Lead Battery Saver Charger allowing you to mount and charge the unit in your car using either a +12 to +24VDC cigarette charger. This will ensure that you are always contactable and the UH078SX Deluxe is fully charged for optimum mobility.

The UH078sx Deluxe is a top of the range UHF Handheld that is equipped with a dual desktop charger allowing you to charge your UH078sx Deluxe and spare battery at the same time so you are never out of communication when you really need it. The UH078sx Deluxe is in an elite class of its own with outstanding security features including Digital Coded Squelch, Voice Scramble Function and CTCSS. All these advanced security functions allow you to scramble your conversation or alternatively receive or block unwanted conversations.

With a Bearcat Engine the UH078sx can scan both UHF CB channels and user programmable channels at the same time. The UH078sx Deluxe has 60 extra receivable channels for storage of favourite listening frequencies (450-512MHz).

The UH078sx Deluxe has a range of up to 15km and with its Range Extender (Duplex) Capability the unit can achieve even further range depending on the location of your local repeater station and topographical conditions.

This splashproof VHF Marine handheld unit is ideal for mobile marine communication. It is fully splashproof and Certified to meet the world standard JIS4 splashproof level. The portable two-way radio is compact and lightweight and fits easily into the palm of your hand when you are on your boat.

You are able to switch between 1 watt output, to preserve the life of the battery and 5 watt output, which provides maximum transmission power. The UH400SX is also equipped with DCS (Digital Coded Squelch) allowing you to choose from 104 alternative digital codes that can be sent with your transmission. The digital code is recognised by the compatible receivers enabling them to receive or block unwanted conversations.
